The monument is 351 feet made of concrete. Located 9 miles east of Hopkinsville, KY, on Hwy 68. 
Me and the Wing! From our home, Paris, TN we took Hwy 79E to Dover , turned left on Hwy 120/139, good curves and turns,watch out for the horse and buggy traffic. On to Hwy 68, where we stopped at the Jefferson Davis, which could be seen several miles away. We made a day of it riding on to Hopkinsville, Russellville and Bowling Green, KY. We found riding boots for the wife at the mall and had lunch at the first Rafferty restaurant. Round trip for the day 282 miles.
